Logistics Center

The Logistic Complex in Yagotyn is compliant with all requirements set to Class A logistics center. It is equipped with Warehouse Management System (the innovative system of product flow management). WMS is an intellectual system that supports all warehouse operations, as well as optimizes the logistic processes from receiving products to shipping them out. By the time the vehicle arrives at the warehouse, the dispatched documentation is already received, examined and processed. It allows generating orders in advance so the loading itself takes only 30-35 minutes. Thus, the total stay-time of cargo vehicles in the center does not exceed 1 hour.

Around the Logistic Center the Corporation constructed new transport junctions, installed 3 rail spurs and 8 railroad accesses.

The premises are equipped with the climate control system. Irrespective of the season the temperature is constantly +18°C (allowed deviation +/- 3°C), constant humidity does not exceed 75%. The climate control is especially important on account of the size of warehouse facilities and specific nature of products. As ROSHEN products are produced from natural ingredients, they are particularly sensitive to temperature extremes. In rooms with ceilings of 12 m, it is essential to keep the warm air from rising up to upper portions of the room and to maintain the constant temperature throughout the entire space. To ensure the climate regime in the logistic center the Corporation uses the equipment of the American company "Lennox".

Apart from the finished products, the complex also stores food ingredients: confectionery fats, cocoa, nuts, juices, etc., totally around 200 kinds of products. Each of them requires special storage conditions. For that reason, the complex is equipped with refrigerators that operate under temperatures ranging from 3 to 14°C, juices are stored in deep freezers.

The smooth functioning of the Logistic Center is supported by the complex software purchased and installed for this particular purpose. In addition, an innovative transport warehouse equipment was set up. To optimize the transportation the entire territory of the complex was ideally levelled: error does not exceed 0,3 cm for 300 cm2. The Logistic Center uses only the latest equipment from the leading global companies.

Also, in 2015 the Logistic Center opened the packaging department. Here the finished products from confectionery factories (sweets, caramel, etc.) are packed in consumer packs weighing from 80 g to 1000 g. The packaging department is certified by the international company “Bureau Veritas” in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.
