ROSHEN Confectionary Corporation is the leader of the national confectionary market. Approximately 25% of all the Ukrainian confectionary products are made in the factories of Corporation in Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Mariupol and Kremenchug.
Since 2001, ROSHEN Corporation has acquired the international status, when Lipetsk confectionary factory "Likonf" (Russia) became a member of Corporation; Klaipeda confectionary factory (Lithuania) joined Corporation in 2006.
The assortment of Corporation numbers more than 200 kinds of sweets, chocolate, waffles, marmalade and cakes. The products are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, the USA, Canada, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Israel.
In 2007, sales of the products of ROSHEN Corporation amounted to more than $650 million that is almost 25% more as compared to 2006. Total production volume of confectionary is 350 ths tons that is 13% more comparing with 2006. The Corporation has produced 150ths tons of confectionary products for the Ukrainian market, that is 11% higher than in 2006. The novelties of the past 2007 year by ROSHEN are: sweets "Rococo", "Grand Toffy", "Konafetto", renewed waffles "Artek Roshen", totally new "Neopolitanky", "Crispiki" and other.
In 2007 ROSHEN Corporation has invested the amount of approximately 100 million EURO into development of production and capital construction. Modernization of equipment has been performed in Mariupol, Kyiv and Kremenchug factories to the total sum of $13.3 million.
There has been bought automobile equipment for the sum of $1.7million.
In 2007 the production objects of ROSHEN Confectionary Corporation were certified in accordance with the requirements of the international food quality and safety standards ISO 22000:2005. And in the end of 2007 Kremenchug confectionary factory was certified in accordance with the requirements of IFS corporate standard. Also, in 2007 the social program on children's playground construction by ROSHEN had been successfully completed. Nowadays, 79 playgrounds are constructed and now functioning in different regions of Ukraine.
