ROSHEN Confectionery Corporation Launches Children Educative Project at Klaipeda Confectionery Factory

Over the years ROSHEN Confectionery Corporation initiates and implements cultural and educative projects. For the youngest consumers, the most avid candy lovers, company opened Edutainment Center in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. Since 2004 the Corporation has implemented the project «Land of Childhood ROSHEN» in the framework of which over 80 modern playgrounds have been installed in various cities all over Ukraine. The Corporation representatives constantly monitor the safety of the playgrounds and provide technical maintenance, which guarantees the safety of children.

Staring from 2005 an educational program for school children is implemented at ROSHEN factories in Ukraine – free of charge tours to the places of production. The project won the recognition and popularity among children immediately, annually over 100 thousand kids visit Roshen factories.

ROSHEN Corporation decided to broad the project geography and on April 1st, 2015 the doors of Klaipeda Confectionery Factory in Lithuania were first opened for the tour.  During a visit children are told the history of Klaipeda Factory, which has been producing confectionery for more than 100 years already, they also find out and discover personally how the factory works today and what products it produces, they also get knowledge about the profession of a confectioner and others of the filed, along with the history and basis of a confectionery industry. The tour is unique with the exciting workshop, during which children try themselves in the role of a true caramelier, hand-making lollipops. After a tour children are presented a sweet ROSHEN gift.  

Project is opened for children from 8 up to 16 years old.
