Lipetsk confectionery factory "Likonf", now is one of the largest producers of confectionery, and began its activity in 1966 as bread-plant No. 4. A biscuit workshop with 2 production mechanized lines is put into operation in 1969: universal line on production of the protracted and saccharine sorts of baking on the base of stove with a packing automate and line on production of cakes on the base of stove. Direction on expansion of confectionery was subsequent. A candy workshop with a line of preparation of praline and line on production of soft candies of the type "stick" is in exploitation from 1972. Production of waffle sorts of candies with glazing is mastered in 1974. In 1976 production of pomade candies on a half-mechanized production line is mastered in a candy workshop. In 1976 bread-plant No. 4 has been given a name of loaf-confectionery complex.
In 1981 production of east sweets is mastered in a candy workshop. The firm shop “Skazka” with a cafe and production area on making of bagels and cream wares is opened. In 1986 Lipetsk loaf-confectionery complex is incorporated with Eletsk confectionery workshop into production association “Lipetskkonditeragroprom”, a line on making of the taffy “Zolotoy klyuchik” is mounted, a firm shop with a cafe “House of bread” is opened, further “Latona”, with a production area on making of bread, confectionery wares, east sweets, cakes and pastries.
A workshop on production of candies and pastilles is put into operation in 1988. In 1994 association “Lipetskkonditeragroprom” is reformed into OJSC “Lipetsk confectionery factory “Likonf”. A mini-line on production of long loaves is mounted in 1996. In 1999 Eletsk confectionery workshop is selected in an independent legal entity. In 2001 OJSC “Lipetsk confectionery factory “Likonf” it is regenerate in the open corporation "Lipetsk confectionery factory "Likonf". From 2001 OJSC "Lipetsk confectionery factory “Likonf” started work on a giving chart. In 2004 a high-performance caramel line is installed at Lipetsk confectionery factory. On this line from September, 2004 a confectionery factory began manufacture of original lollipop fruit caramel. For period from 2005 to 2007 a line on production of molded milk sorts of caramel, line on production of hard caramel with filling and line for production of caramel with filling and without filling «ROSHEN» is put into operation. Activity of the company is aimed at making of confectionery: flour group – biscuit production on making of saccharine sorts of baking and saccharine group – making of candies in an assortment. As a result of reconstruction on a factory a production volume increased, quality of manufactured products improved. Specialization of assortment is made. General capacity of factory, due to the technical reformation, for the present is about 80 thousand of tons of confectionery per year, produced on ten current mechanized lines.
From 1994 all products of factory are certificated. Goods of confectionery factory were repeatedly awarded with prestigious awards. Considerable part of products of OJSC "Likonf" is candies. They are manufacture in more than 60 names. There are candies and caramel unglazed and glazed with a chocolate and confectionery glaze with different corps:
- nut;
- molded;
- waffle;
- pomade;
- cream;
- praline.
Unstable economic situation, rise in the prices of raw material, sharp competition brought an enterprise over to unsteady financial position: production capacities up to 2001 began to decrease, amount of workers grew short. 6 investment projects presented at conference on attraction of investors were developed. From November, 2001 Lipetsk confectionery factory joined "Roshen" Confectionery Corporation.
As a result of realization of investment project, for two years of work a production volume increased in one time or twice. Specialization of assortment took place. Presently amount of workers makes up about 2300 persons, and a production volume grows continuously. Lipetsk confectionery factory is specialized in production of the caramel “Roshen” and “Karamelkino”, saccharine baking and chocolate-waffle candies such as “Rusalonka”, “Dikie lebedi”, “Karabas Barabas”. Also lines on production of the glazed candies with praline work at the factory, pomade, jelly corps ( “Barbie Sweets”), pomade unglazed candies (“Likonf Premiere” and etc.).
From August 2004 caramel factory in the village of Sentsovo not far from Lipetsk is put into operation, where a series of modern high-performance lines was installed for production of different types of caramel.
In 2007 lines on production of chocolate candies with filling, toffi and jelly candies on a pectin are put into operation.
The assortment line of Lipetsk confectionery factory amounts to about 70 names of products, among which lollipop caramel, caramel with filling on the basis of natural juice, saccharine baking, glazed candies with pomatum, praline, jelly and molded corps, pomade unglazed candies and etc.
Traditional orientation on high quality of products in combination with the use of modern technologies and last scientific achievements do sweets of Lipetsk confectionery factory "Likonf" favorite and popular both in Russia and outside its borders.
