Kremenchug Confectionery Factory

Kremenchug Confectionery Factory is one of the oldest enterprises of its kind in Ukraine. It was founded in 1898 by an entrepreneur P.N.Podderegin and in 1925 it became the basis for a state-owned enterprise producing up to 140 tons of confectionery per year. Since then, the factory developed fast and its productivity grew to 24,000 tons per year by 1990.

About 1,000 people are presently employed at the factory and the product range has considerably grown. It includes more than 70 names of confectionery: candies and hard candy. Three names of candies make on a factory: "Nut de luxe", "Nut-classic" and " Nut-exotic".

In 2000 a highly productive hard candy line was installed at Kremenchug Confectionery Factory. The line, which is unique to Ukraine, was manufactured by Klockner Hansel Processing. In February 2001 this line started to produce original fruit hard candy and cooling hard candy: Roshen, Nord and Vit lines. In April, 2003 the production of two new types of caramel began on a factory - creamy caramel "Capri" and creamy-fruit caramel "Мalibu". The creamy-fruit caramel "Мalybu" is unique to Ukraine: content of natural creams more than 10%.

In 2004 "the family of caramel" of the Kremenchug Confectionery Factory was replenished with a new type of caramel - "Eclair" (caramel with a chocolate stuffing), and in 2005 - new caramel "Drop of milk" (caramel with the milk stuffing).

In 2006 the Kremenchug confectioners has mastered new kinds of production: caramel "Citrus-mix" and "Phitoaktiv". Lollipops "Citrus mix" is produced with three tastes and it has an original form - form of citrus lobule. Lollipops "Phitoaktiv" has four types. She is a health-giving caramel which content of the extracts of plants: treelike aloe, ginseng and ginger.

The products' high quality is based upon the good traditions and extensive experience of the staff. The factory's products have won at many top exhibitions and competitions.

The system of quality is developed and introduced on a Factory. In 2005 JSC of "КCF" was certificate in the international system of management of quality of ISO 2001:2000.
